Purple Blitz fountain pen in Dainty Dafoe model

If one were to chuck a handful of blueberries, together with some mulberries with a scoop of vanilla ice-cream into a blender and press the “turbo” button for a fraction of a second, I think this colour combination might be the result. What is weird though, is that the camera picks up the colour as being more of a deep blue, whereas my eyes swear it is a deep purple. Perhaps this is due to there being a colour shift pigment in the mix, which changes according to the angle of the light. Either way, it is a beaut of a pen.

As the name suggests, this is a feminine, dainty pen. The nib end of the barrel curves in toward the section, which is tapered to follow the shape of the barrel. The gentle curves on both the cap and the barrel lead to a narrow waist in the middle.
