[Sold] Emerald, lime and gold : Whitney model
The barrel of this pen has alternate rows of emerald and lime green silk threads spiralling in one direction, and gold and emerald threads spiralling in the other. The silk thread is from Japan and is normally used to embroider kimonos and obis (the wide belt worn in traditional attire.) The finials, grip section and cap are made of an in-house pour in a colour that reminds me of a vintage racing car; it looks so dark it’s almost black under low light but deep sparkly green under bright light.
The opulent colour scheme works well with the bronze centre-band and four bronze rings. The cap finial shows our logo in bronze against a black background.
We are so delighted by the result of this prototype that we plan to make more of these pens.
In-house resin pours: the body is palest of pale yellows. The cap and finials a sparkly emerald.
Available in Jowo # 6 in polished steel. Please select Fine, Medium or Broad in the check-out.
