[Sold] Columbines & Hummingbird – original art fountain pen
This astonishingly beautiful hummingbird feeding on the nectar of a columbine flower, has been painted by Lisa Strachan. Three artists have independently painted hummingbirds on our pens and what is fascinating is that each one has interpreted this gorgeous creature completely differently. And each one is absolutely exquisite. In this painting, Lisa has captured the spectacular blues and greens in the birds wings, chest and tail-feathers, and combined it with the mauve tones of the columbine buds and flowers. The shapes of the flowers’ spurs and petals and the grey-green leaves combine in subtle harmony with the bird’s features. A superb work of art, Lisa!
