[Sold] Ikigai – one’s purpose in life fountain pen
R9,500
The Japanese word ikigai is a profound concept that refers to one’s reason for being alive, one’s passion, the thing that makes life worth living. Sally is a recurring theme in many of Hanna Farmer’s doodles, and in Sally’s case, animals are her ikigai. Here Sally, holding a baby fox in her arms, is part of a tree, and creatures are to be found sheltered in every one of her branches … a hedgehog, a moose, a whale, a koala bear, a walrus, a mountain goat.
The pen was made by us at Stanford Pen Studio, painted and zendoodled by Hanna Farmer, then coated in a clear resin by ourselves and given its final shape, polish, and buffing. It has a bronze section ring and bronze logo medallion in the finial. One of a kind!
Nib:
Available in Jowo #6 in polished steel. Please select Fine, Medium or Broad at the check-out.
