[Sold] Jellyfish Soaring – original art fountain pen

R7,000

Lisa Strachan has painted two unique jellyfish pens. This one, in deeper greens and turquoises, features a single jellyfish in pinks, cerise and pale rose tones on the cap. The darker colours of the sea indicate a greater depth, with streaks of light coming from above. The yellows of the sea anemones’ spines brighten the pen’s barrel, and tiny bronze fish swim in the background. Lisa has also achieved a remarkable 3D effect of making it look as if one can see through the pen and make out some anemones behind the ones in the foreground.

This is an original, one-of-a-kind work of art. By encasing the painting in clear resin we enable to owner to carry it and use it on a daily basis without damaging the artwork.

This pen has a sterling silver cap band, and a silver ring in the section. It has a rose-burgundy section, and our bronze logo medallion is embedded in the cap’s finial.
