[Sold] Sally’s Travel Journal – hand-painted fountain pen
R9,500
This is a hand-painted fountain pen that will have special meaning for those who love journalling – here is Sally, riding on a snail, writing in her travel journal. With hot air balloons floating around her, and a palm leaf providing her with a natural umbrella, I just love the way her red journal stands out as the centre of attention.
On the barrel there is another happy-looking snail. This one has a town on their back, and a gorgeous fruit tree that has obviously been there a while. Travelling in the slow lane is clearly the best way to appreciate one’s surroundings.
This pen was made by us at Stanford Pen Studio, painted and zendoodled by Hanna Farmer, then coated in a clear resin by ourselves and given its final shape, polish, and buffing. It has a bronze section ring and bronze logo medallion in the finial. One of a kind!
Nib:
Available in Jowo #6 in polished steel. Please select Fine, Medium or Broad at the check-out.
