Kseniia Nel’s Masters in Fine Art shows in her deep appreciation of Vincent Van Gogh’s The Starry Night. She has captured not only the atmosphere of the famous painting, but also the frenetic energy and vivid brushstrokes that defined the Dutch genius’s later work. Even in the darkness of the trees in the foreground, Kseniia has managed to include distinct brushstrokes, as well as a sense of the internal darkness he may have been feeling as this was the view from Van Gogh’s room in the mental asylum where he was living in at the time.

But not only that … she has gone further and highlighted elements of the painting in an invisible ink that is only visible under ultraviolet light. The effect is magical! She has provided a small UV torch which will be shipped with this pen.

Lana le Roux mixed a custom colour resin for the section material and we have added a silver cap band, section ring and logo in the finial.
