Ever since seeing the documentary, My Octopus Teacher (which was filmed by a South African near Cape Town), octopuses have held a special place in my heart. Their intelligence, inquisitiveness, and they even seem to have a sense of humour! So this pen really makes me smile. Hanna Farmer has doodled a truly charismatic octopus on this fountain pen, in rust-orange and sunset-yellow. The background is almost like frosted glass in shades of light turquoise and sea foam. I just love Hanna’s dotty doodles in between the octopus’s tentacles. Lana mixed a rust-orange resin for the cap and grip section (which unfortunately my camera battles to do justice to. Trust me – it is superb!))
This pen is in our new Intwana model. (Intwana means “smaller one” in Xhosa, as it is smaller than our standard Jabulani model.) It features a bronze cap band and section ring and our silver logo inside a bronze ring embedded in the cap finial.

SPECIFICATIONS
The new model, the Intwana (meaning Smaller One in Xhosa), is shorter and slimmer, better suited to people who prefer smaller pens or who have smaller hands.
The Intwana model’s cap has a 2-start thread, which means that it opens and closes with a single turn. It has bronze cap and section rings, and the clip is gold-plated.
