[Sold] Butterfly Tattoo painted fountain pen

If you should buy this pen, we would not blame you if you decide to add a matching tattoo sleeve to one of your body parts! (In case you are as uniformed as was I regarding tat culture, a sleeve refers to a tattoo that covers a large area, such a person’s entire arm, with a single design that has a unifying theme.)
Carla Nel set out to design a pen with a butterfly tattoo sleeve appearance, and we think she has done a superb job. Carla’s sleeve of butterflies and flowers in monochrome is set against a pretty background that changes from a gentle orange, to pinkish, to lavender along its length. She chose the colours such that near the middle it matches her skin tone exactly. We have added a lavendery grip section, our engraved nib, our logo medallion in silver, and a silver cap band and section ring.
Please note that we sanded through the handmade sliver cap band in two small spots. We have highlighted these spots in the second last photograph, though as you will see it does not make a significant difference to the overall appearance of this fountain pen.
Each of our hand-painted fountain pens is a 1/1 original work of art. No-one else will ever own an identical pen.

The Jabulani model
SPECIFICATIONS
This is a gently curvaceous model, with a relatively wide girth of 16 mm (0,6″) narrowing to a 10,5 mm (0,4″) grip section. It has our logo on the finial, and the finial is ever-so-slightly rounded, rather than dead flat, which adds to the pen’s elegance.
