[Sold] Cirques de l’Oasis hand-painted fountain pen

The next in Hanna Farmer’s Circus series is Cirque de l’Oasis. Here, a circus that has been travelling by (steampunk) steam train through the desert, has stopped at an oasis, with pyramids and palm trees in the background. The carriages have luggage and tents and even birdcages stacked on top, while animals such as an elephant and a circus pony gallop nearby. (Hanna made it clear that in her circus there are no animals inside cages!) There is a bear riding a bicycle on a bridge; an elephant balancing on a ball while a monkey balances on the elephant’s head, all the while juggling balls in midair. A rabbit is popping up out of a top hat; a trapeze artist is swinging below a hot air balloon, which has a weathervane in the shape of a cock on its top; there is a popcorn wagon and a candy wagon; balloons in the background; hot air balloons …. the detail is mesmerising!

This pen was made by us at Stanford Pen Studio, painted and zendoodled by Hanna then coated in a clear resin by ourselves and given its final shape, polished, and buffed. It has a bronze cap band, section ring, and bronze logo medallion in the cap finial, and we have added a burnt orangey-red section.

Each of our hand-painted fountain pens is a 1/1 original work of art, hence no-one else will ever own an identical pen.
