[Sold] Enchanted fountain pen

That’s how I feel when I see this pen … enchanted, captivated, bewitched.. Paula Louw has created this beauty with a combination of watercolours in intense shades of blue reminiscent of jewels and precious stones … lapis lazuli, tanzanite, amethyst, topaz, aquamarine and tourmaline … together with abstract patches of gold leaf. Coating it in clear resin has added to the impact and the effect is that of stained glass, or a pen made of jewels.
This pen was made by us at Stanford Pen Studio, painted by Paula then coated in a clear resin by ourselves and given its final shape, polished, and buffed. We have added a deep, deep blue grip section that also has sparkles within it, as well as a bronze section ring, bronze cap band and our logo medallion in copper embedded in the cap finial.
One thing we ought to emphasise is that each of our hand-painted fountain pens is a 1/1 original work of art. No-one else will ever own an identical pen. The artist paints directly on to the pen, which takes an exceptional amount of talent and skill … not to mention time!

The Jabulani model
SPECIFICATIONS
This is a gently curvaceous model, with a girth of 16 mm (0,6”), narrowing to a 10,7 mm (0,4”) grip section. The relatively large size of the model is to allow the artist sufficient space for their artwork, and the artwork is encased in a layer of clear resin to protect it from getting damaged during day-to-day use. Our logo medallion is embedded in the cap finial which is ever-so-slightly rounded, and the barrel finial is ever-so-slightly conical. The cap is a flush-fit and does not post. The Jabulani model usually comes with a hand-made, cap band and section ring in either Argentium silver or bronze, though this may differ depending on what best suits the artwork. Custom hand-crafted roll stops can be added.

We supply our pens with a Jowo #6 nib, alternatively the section can be made to fit a Bock #6 if requested.
