Yulia Glas’s foxes have such warm personalities. The vixen on the barrel has a butterfly landing on her nose and the kit on the cap is entranced by the moon. We love the way Yulia plays with colour. Her moon has shadows of fox-orange and her tree and foliage are a shimmery blue. As one turns the pen, the fireflies dance and sparkle in the light and a garland of ferns appears strung around the tree trunk.
We have added a grip section in glossy black and Dave has incorporated a silver cap band, and section ring and a bronze logo medallion embedded in the cap finial.

The font I wrote with in this post in an adaptation from Sachin Shah’s Pointura script. I adore this script and the way he has added variations that emphasise elements of the original. I am also very grateful that in the class I attended he encouraged participants to develop their own adaptations. And for his endless patience with people like myself who butcher his perfect writing, but get a huge kick out of trying!

The Jabulani model
SPECIFICATIONS
This is a gently curvaceous model, with a girth of 16 mm (0,6”), narrowing to a 10,7 mm (0,4”) grip section. The relatively large size of the model is to allow the artist sufficient space for their artwork, and the artwork is encased in a layer of clear resin to protect it from getting damaged during day-to-day use. Our logo medallion is embedded in the cap finial which is ever-so-slightly rounded, and the barrel finial is ever-so-slightly conical. The cap is a flush-fit and does not post. The Jabulani model usually comes with a hand-made, cap band and section ring in either Argentium silver or bronze, though this may differ depending on what best suits the artwork. Custom hand-crafted roll stops can be added.

We supply our pens with a Jowo #6 nib, alternatively the section can be made to fit a Bock #6 if requested.
