[Sold] Magic hand-painted fountain pen
Nighttime is a time of Magic … Yulia’s painting has cosy homes on the barrel that are reflected by magical houses in constellations on the cap; magical cats, stars that turn into fireflies, and a cat that glitters. Then there is Ursa Major and Minor, both of which feature in a wide variety of mythologies, and Polaris, or the North Star which has been used for navigation for centuries, and a constellation that looks like smoke rising from a chimney.
Yulia’s use of colour on this pen is amazing. The background is a blueish-turquoise, some of the windows are a rust red, next to a tree with magenta flowers, another tree has butter-coloured flowers, the lamplight and fireflies are a glowing lemon yellow, and in amongst the stars are sparkles that look like the cap is embedded with dozens of tiny diamonds. We have added a mustard yellow section that works really well with the turquoise and yellows. This pen has a bronze cap band, section ring and logo medallion in the cap finial.

The Jabulani model
SPECIFICATIONS
This is a gently curvaceous model, with a girth of 16 mm (0,6”), narrowing to a 10,7 mm (0,4”) grip section. The relatively large size of the model is to allow the artist sufficient space for their artwork, and the artwork is encased in a layer of clear resin to protect it from getting damaged during day-to-day use. Our logo medallion is embedded in the cap finial which is ever-so-slightly rounded, and the barrel finial is ever-so-slightly conical. The cap is a flush-fit and does not post. The Jabulani model usually comes with a hand-made, cap band and section ring in either Argentium silver or bronze, though this may differ depending on what best suits the artwork. Custom hand-crafted roll stops can be added.

We supply our pens with a Jowo #6 nib, alternatively the section can be made to fit a Bock #6 if requested.
