[Available] Mission hand-painted fountain pen

This pen, Mission, can be a stand-alone, and can also be seen as a prequel to Calming The Storm, Brandon Lodewyk’s first pen, which featured an astronaut sitting on an asteroid far out in space. As the current pen is the 10th drawn by Brandon, he started off by thinking to himself: So how did the astronaut land up here on this asteroid in the first place?

Mission shows what happened when a tiny screw came loose and caused the space craft to crash land on to a distant planet. The space ship was badly damaged, with pieces of the craft spread around. The astronaut had to reassess the situation as they had to complete the mission. So they picked up the asset and set off on foot, because, as well all know, time waits for no-one.

This pen was made by us at Stanford Pen Studio, illustrated by Brandon in graphite, then coated in a clear resin by ourselves and given its final shape, polished, and buffed. We have added a very dark grey grip section, as well as a silver section ring, and our logo medallion (in silver) embedded in the cap finial.

Each of our hand-painted fountain pens is a 1/1 original work of art. No-one else will ever own an identical pen. If you would like to request a commissioned artwork on a fountain pen by Brandon, please contact us.

Available in Jowo #6 in polished steel. Please select Fine, Medium or Broad at the check-out.

The Jabulani model

This is a gently curvaceous model, with a relatively wide girth of 16 mm (0,6″) narrowing to a 10,5 mm (0,4″)  grip section. It has our logo on the finial, and the finial is ever-so-slightly rounded, rather than dead flat, which adds to the pen’s elegance.
