Sunflowers hand-painted fountain pen

Sunflowers: what a happy fountain pen! Yulia Glas has painted a big, bright, bold sunflower on the barrel, and a side-on view of a sunflower on the cap. The background is a pearlescent white and the flowers are… wait for it … sunflower yellow! And in case you were wondering, no, she does not paint on to some other surface and then transfer it on to the pen. She paints directly on to one of our fountain pens. (A Jabulani model in this case). And no, it is not printed on. It is hand-painted and the lines are hand-drawn. And yes, she is that amazing!
Lana (who is also amazing!) mixed a lovely mellow yellow for the grip section, Dave (yes, amazing) made the fountain pen and added a bronze cap band, section ring and logo medallion embedded in the cap finial.

Available in Jowo #6 in polished steel. Please select Fine, Medium or Broad at the check-out. We also have 1.1 and 1.5 stubs available. Please let us know if you would like a 14k gold nib as we have a few on order.
The Jabulani model
SPECIFICATIONS
This is a gently curvaceous model, with a girth of 16 mm (0,6”), narrowing to a 10,7 mm (0,4”) grip section. The relatively large size of the model is to allow the artist sufficient space for their artwork, and the artwork is encased in a layer of clear resin to protect it from getting damaged during day-to-day use. Our logo medallion is embedded in the cap finial which is ever-so-slightly rounded, and the barrel finial is ever-so-slightly conical. The cap is a flush-fit and does not post. The Jabulani model usually comes with a hand-made, cap band and section ring in either Argentium silver or bronze, though this may differ depending on what best suits the artwork. Custom hand-crafted roll stops can be added.

We supply our pens with a Jowo #6 nib, alternatively the section can be made to fit a Bock #6 if requested.
