Teal Doodle painted fountain pen

Lana le Roux has created this carefully doodled fountain pen in shades of teal. The design was inspired by a doodle by TikTok phenomenon, Trine Lise Vollen. (Trine regularly videos herself doodling and has very nearly 100 000 followers on TikTok and a growing number on Instagram.) Lana’s version uses graded shades of teal, from a deep, dark sea-green as the background colour, followed by a layer of petals in sage-teal, then turquoise, with a top layer of petals in white, with a dot of gold in each centre. Lana mixed a special resin to match the dark sea-green for a grip section, and has painted the finials and centre bands in the turquoise colour. The effect is stunning!
For those who do not know Lana, she is the Office Manager at Stanford Pen Studio, she is an extremely talented artist and is the person who creates section material to complement our pens perfectly.
We love this pen and are encouraging Lana to paint many, many more fountain pens.
The pen body is by Stanford Pen Studio, with a silver section ring, cap band and logo medallion embedded in the cap finial.
Each of our hand-painted fountain pens is a 1/1 original work of art. No-one else will ever own an identical pen.

The Jabulani model
SPECIFICATIONS
This is a gently curvaceous model, with a girth of 16 mm (0,6”), narrowing to a 10,7 mm (0,4”) grip section. The relatively large size of the model is to allow the artist sufficient space for their artwork, and the artwork is encased in a layer of clear resin to protect it from getting damaged during day-to-day use. Our logo medallion is embedded in the cap finial which is ever-so-slightly rounded, and the barrel finial is ever-so-slightly conical. The cap is a flush-fit and does not post. The Jabulani model usually comes with a hand-made, cap band and section ring in either Argentium silver or bronze, though this may differ depending on what best suits the artwork. Custom hand-crafted roll stops can be added.

We supply our pens with a Jowo #6 nib, alternatively the section can be made to fit a Bock #6 if requested.
