The Grinch, is one of the pens in The Christmas Collection, hand-painted by Hanna Farmer. The Collection is inspired by classic Christmas stories, and although not considered one of the classics, The Grinch Who Stole Christmas was one of our family’s all-time favourite Dr Seuss stories. Hanna has captured The Grinch’s mean-spiritedness on the cap, with his doorway covered in warnings: Beware, Stay Away, and Unwelcome. On top of the snow-covered hill is the sled with all the Christmas presents The Grinch has stolen.
The barrel has The Grinch looking down on Whoville and seeing all its residents having a wonderful Christmas Day, despite there being no gifts. He comes to realise, “Maybe Christmas,” he thought, “does not come from a store, maybe Christmas … perhaps … means a little bit more.”
This pen was made by us at Stanford Pen Studio, painted and zendoodled by Hanna then coated in a clear resin by ourselves and given its final shape, polished, and buffed. It has a sterling silver roll stop in the shape of a star, individually handmade by Aileen Février, and a ghost green grip section.
This pen can be bought individually or together with others from The Christmas Collection. One thing we ought to emphasise is that each of our hand-painted fountain pens is a 1/1 original work of art. No-one else will ever own an identical pen.

The Jabulani model
SPECIFICATIONS
This is a gently curvaceous model, with a relatively wide girth of 16 mm (0,6″) narrowing to a 10,5 mm (0,4″) grip section. It has our logo on the finial, and the finial is ever-so-slightly rounded, rather than dead flat, which adds to the pen’s elegance.
