Once upon a time there was a golden horse … . Yulia Glas has been painting magical creatures lately and this beautiful, magical, golden horse stands out as being extraordinary. The horse is painted in two tones of gold, bright gold and rose gold; with a turquoise wash for the shading. It has the longest of eyelashes, and there is a shower of golden droplets as it flicks its magnificent mane. This horse could surely grant wishes and carry one to faraway lands. She has painted it against a shimmering, colour-shift background that looks like she crushed sapphires into her paint. The sparkling deep blue is interspersed with an almost invisible pattern in the blackest of black paint.

The cap has an explosion of vibrant floral patterns, wildly exuberant, with the same golds and turquoises in acanthus and fern leaf patterns, with dots and curlicues against the midnight blue. It genuinely looks as if Yulia uses crushed gems instead of paint.

Lana has mixed a deep, deep blue resin for the section material and we have added an Argentium silver cap band, section ring and logo medallion embedded in the cap finial.
