I love it when Lisa Strachan combines her botanic art with her whimsy … as in this delightful painting of Red Hot chili peppers on a fountain pen. Not only has she painted the chilis, but also added the pretty white flowers that result in these little fruits of gastronomic dynamite. The chilis, flowers and slices of chili are drawn and painted against an off-white background. Lana le Roux has mixed a magnificent deep burnt orange material for the grip section, and we have added a hand-made Argentium silver cap band, section ring and logo medallion in the cap finial.
