Ombre: Bonfire to Ember Beaded Fountain Pen

Lana le Roux beaded this fountain pen in an ombre pattern of fall colours – from a rich glowing bonfire to an opalescent ember. What the camera cannot capture is how the beads catch the light … they sparkle as if the pen were filled with red hot coals that glow from within. Lana also made resin for the pen body in a rich russet that has its own sparkles.

Lana used a total of more than 1 500 tiny Miyuki Delica #11 beads to do the beadweaving; She is so multi-talented and took to beading as if she had been doing this all her life. Dave developed the new model and made the pen, and Lana mixed the custom resin colours. This pen comes with a stainless steel cap band and section ring, chrome-plated clip and our silver logo medallion inside a bronze ring embedded in the cap finial. It has a double start thread, to minimise the number of turns required to open and close the cap.

These beaded pens come with the option of a Jowo 1.1 or 1.5 stub nib.
