[Available] A Glint of Koi painted fountain pen

The fountain pen bug has bitten Yulia Glas and she is now obsessed with painting our pens. (We are delighted … please no-one offer her any antidote to her new addiction!) The name of this pen, A Gllnt of Koi, refers to the collective noun for a group of Koi. And it is so apt. Yulia painted the blue background in multiple layers of alcohol inks, which give it that lovely flowing appearance, with a few sparkles that shine like bubbles, and also used chameleon pigments that change colour depending on the angle of the light.
Koi are considered a symbol of good luck and prosperity. We trust this pen will bring its owner good fortune, and we hope that some of Yulia’s bubbly vivaciousness will also rub off on the person writing with it.
Each of our hand-painted fountain pens is a 1/1 original work of art. No-one else will ever own an identical pen, however if you would like to request a custom pen from Yulia that has a similar theme you are welcome to contact us via the contact form on our website.

The Jabulani model
SPECIFICATIONS
This is a gently curvaceous model, with a relatively wide girth of 16 mm (0,6″) narrowing to a 10,5 mm (0,4″) grip section. It has our logo on the finial, and the finial is ever-so-slightly rounded, rather than dead flat, which adds to the pen’s elegance.
