[Currently available] Transformation hand-painted fountain pen

R8,000

This pattern started with the idea of creating a dragon’s scales, but then it morphed and took on a life of its own. The artist, Kseniia Nel, explains that a dragon’s scales would be more rounded, whereas these shapes became more blade- or leaf-like. And as so happens when one allows one’s art to dictate the direction, the end result is something stunning and unanticipated. A transformation.

We created a custom resin mix for the section material … a combination of black and antique gold which has a subtle lustre and also a gentle gleam under certain light.

Kseniia is a versatile artist who has studied in both Ukraine and in Norway where she completed a Masters in Fine Art. She is happy to consider requests for commissions, so if you would like to suggest a particular theme, please let us know via the contact form.

Each of our hand-painted fountain pens is a 1/1 original work of art. No-one else will ever own an identical pen.
