Grape, Iris, Aquamarine Beaded Fountain Pen

Jackie Palmer has used exquisitely coloured beads to create these bead-woven flower patterns; iris-purple with a touch of merlot; aquamarine that show a hint of pink in certain lights; opalescent ivory centres, and the background beads are silver with a dusting of peach. Wow! Lana le Roux created a perfect resin colour for the fountain pen’s body and cap: it is more of a lighter grape than the deep purple captured in the photographs … the close-up of the grip section is the most accurate.

Jackie used a total of more than 1 500 tiny Miyuki Delica #11 beads (without a magnifier!!) to do the beadweaving; She has been beading for many years and finds it compulsively relaxing! Dave developed the new model and made the pen, and Lana mixed the custom resin colour. This pen comes with a stainless steel cap band and section ring, silver-coloured clip and with our silver logo medallion inside a bronze ring embedded in the cap finial. It has a double start thread, to minimise the number of turns required to open and close the cap.

These beaded pens come with the option of a Jowo 1.1 or 1.5 stub nib.
