[Sold] Hansel, Gretel & Snow White fountain pen
As part of her Grimm’s Fairy Tales series, Hanna Farmer has illustrated the story of Hansel and Gretel on the cap of this fountain pen, and Snow White on the barrel.
Hansel and Gretel shows the children lost and abandoned amongst scary trees; the witch hobbling along; her gingerbread house and the children walking up the path that is lined with candy-striped canes and lollipops.
Snow White has a magnificent Evil Queen shown from the back looking into her mirror … “Mirror, Mirror on the wall …”, her disguised as an old woman carrying the poisoned apple, the glass coffin, the castle (which looks uncannily like the Disney castle!), and Snow White dancing up the hill to meet the Seven Dwarfs. (Please note the level of detail: at Hanna’s husband’s insistence, one dwarf is holding a shovel and another a pickaxe. He felt they looked incomplete without them!)
This pen was made by us at Stanford Pen Studio, painted and zendoodled by Hanna then coated in a clear resin by ourselves and given its final shape, polished, and buffed. It has a bronze cap band, bronze section ring, copper and bronze logo in the cap finial, and we have added a deep burgundy grip section.
This pen can be bought individually or together with others from The Grimm’s Fairy Tales collection. One thing we ought to emphasise is that each of our hand-painted fountain pens is a 1/1 original work of art. No-one else will ever own an identical pen.

The Jabulani model
SPECIFICATIONS
This is a gently curvaceous model, with a girth of 16 mm (0,6”), narrowing to a 10,7 mm (0,4”) grip section. The relatively large size of the model is to allow the artist sufficient space for their artwork, and the artwork is encased in a layer of clear resin to protect it from getting damaged during day-to-day use. Our logo medallion is embedded in the cap finial which is ever-so-slightly rounded, and the barrel finial is ever-so-slightly conical. The cap is a flush-fit and does not post. The Jabulani model usually comes with a hand-made, cap band and section ring in either Argentium silver or bronze, though this may differ depending on what best suits the artwork. Custom hand-crafted roll stops can be added.

We supply our pens with a Jowo #6 nib, alternatively the section can be made to fit a Bock #6 if requested.
