[Sold] Peacock Feather fountain pen

Lisa Strachan’s first Peacock Plume fountain pen gained so much attention that she suggested painting another. We were delighted. This one, Peacock Feather, is obviously not identical as each painting is a unique work of art. The colours are similar so I shall use the same description I used before: the azure background highlights the colours so well. At the centre of each feather is a deep, dark purple ‘eye’, surrounded by a ring that is sapphire blue below fading into a lighter blue above, which in turn is inside a gold border fringed with emerald green. The individual barbs are streaks of black surrounded by dazzling gold. It has a vivacious, opulent feel. We have added a deep blue section grip that has both a shimmer and a colour shift effect as you tilt the pen from side to side.
Unlike the first pen which had bronze ‘furniture’, this pen has an argentium silver section ring, cap band and logo medallion in the cap finial and Lisa’s initials on the barrel finial.
Each of our hand-painted fountain pens is a 1/1 original work of art painted directly on to the fountain pen.

The Jabulani model
SPECIFICATIONS
This is a gently curvaceous model, with a girth of 16 mm (0,6”), narrowing to a 10,7 mm (0,4”) grip section. The relatively large size of the model is to allow the artist sufficient space for their artwork, and the artwork is encased in a layer of clear resin to protect it from getting damaged during day-to-day use. Our logo medallion is embedded in the cap finial which is ever-so-slightly rounded, and the barrel finial is ever-so-slightly conical. The cap is a flush-fit and does not post. The Jabulani model usually comes with a hand-made, cap band and section ring in either Argentium silver or bronze, though this may differ depending on what best suits the artwork. Custom hand-crafted roll stops can be added.

We supply our pens with a Jowo #6 nib, alternatively the section can be made to fit a Bock #6 if requested.
