[Sold] Seascape hand-painted fountain pen

R8,000

Renowned artist, Paula Louw, has created a dreamy seascape on this fountain pen. Her seagulls wheeling above the water, the foam atop the waves and the crushed shells on the shore are so real one can almost feel the crunch of wet sea-sand under one’s toes.

This pen was made by us at Stanford Pen Studio, painted by Paula then coated in a clear resin by ourselves and given its final shape, polished, and buffed. We have added a bluey-turquoise grip section to complement the colour of the sea, as well as a bronze section ring, bronze cap band and our logo medallion embedded in the cap finial.

One thing we ought to emphasise is that each of our hand-painted fountain pens is a 1/1 original work of art. No-one else will ever own an identical pen. The artist paints directly on to the pen, which takes an exceptional amount of talent and skill … not to mention time!
