This is Lana le Roux’s first painted fountain pen and what a debut she has made! Lana dried tiny leaves and used them to press these exquisite patterns into paint, then layered the colours with semi-translucent paints, adding more leaf impressions, and gradually building up an extraordinary pattern. It is lifelike and also has a tremendous feeling of movement, hence the choice of name: Snow Flurry.
For those who do not know Lana, she is the über-organised Office Manager at Stanford Pen Studio, she is an extremely talented artist and is the person who creates section material to complement our pens perfectly. (She is also a professional chef, and happens to be the sister of another artist who paints our fountain pens, Zelna le Roux. How talented can a single person be?!? And how lucky we are to have her on the Stanford Pen Studio team.)
We love this Snow Flurry and hope that Lana will find time to paint many, many more fountain pens.
The pen body is by Stanford Pen Studio. Lana mixed the midnight-teal to match her pen exactly and it we added a bronze section ring and cap band.
Each of our hand-painted fountain pens is a 1/1 original work of art. No-one else will ever own an identical pen.

The Jabulani model
SPECIFICATIONS
This is a gently curvaceous model, with a relatively wide girth of 16 mm (0,6″) narrowing to a 10,5 mm (0,4″) grip section. It has our logo on the finial, and the finial is ever-so-slightly rounded, rather than dead flat, which adds to the pen’s elegance.
