[Sold] Tribute to Longfellow hand-painted fountain pen

R11,500

Two poems by Henry Wadsworth Longfellow are featured on this hand-painted pen by Hanna Farmer: The Arrow and the Song on the cap and The Wreck of the Hesperus on the barrel. The cap shows a person in silhouette shooting an arrow and it lodging in an ancient oak. The barrel shows the tragic consequences of a scornful skipper taking his daughter on an ill-fated voyage in winter. How Hanna has managed to fit all of this on a fountain pen is remarkable.

This pen was made by us at Stanford Pen Studio, painted and zendoodled by Hanna then coated in a clear resin by ourselves and given its final shape, polished, and buffed. It has a silver cap band, section ring, and silver logo medallion in the cap finial, and we have added a matching deep-sea blue section.

Each of our hand-painted fountain pens is a 1/1 original work of art, hence no-one else will ever own an identical pen.
