[Sold] Pinocchio hand-painted fountain pen
Continuing on her theme of illustrating classic children’s books, Hanna Farmer has created an exceptionally detailed Pinocchio. She has drawn scenes of the lonely Geppetto carving his marionettes; the little Pinocchio dressed as a young boy, wishing he could come to life; the wily fox, named J Worthington Foulfellow in the 1949 movie, and his dim cat sidekick who lead the impressionable youngster astray; Pinocchio killing the cricket who acts as his conscience; his misery as his nose grows with his perpetual lying; the magical bird who informs Pinocchio of Gepetto’s demise having been swallowed by a whale, and Pinocchio being prepared to sacrifice his own life to save his creator. In the background is the exceptionally detailed Tuscan countryside, a sunflower-bright sun, and a typical Italian town on the skyline. And all of this on a fountain pen!
The pen was made by us at Stanford Pen Studio, painted and zendoodled by Hanna then coated in a clear resin by ourselves and given its final shape, polished, and buffed. It has a silver cap band, section ring, and silver logo medallion in the cap finial, and we have added a bright orange grip section.
Each of our hand-painted fountain pens is a 1/1 original work of art, hence no-one else will ever own an identical pen.

The Jabulani model
SPECIFICATIONS
This is a gently curvaceous model, with a girth of 16 mm (0,6”), narrowing to a 10,7 mm (0,4”) grip section. The relatively large size of the model is to allow the artist sufficient space for their artwork, and the artwork is encased in a layer of clear resin to protect it from getting damaged during day-to-day use. Our logo medallion is embedded in the cap finial which is ever-so-slightly rounded, and the barrel finial is ever-so-slightly conical. The cap is a flush-fit and does not post. The Jabulani model usually comes with a hand-made, cap band and section ring in either Argentium silver or bronze, though this may differ depending on what best suits the artwork. Custom hand-crafted roll stops can be added.

We supply our pens with a Jowo #6 nib, alternatively the section can be made to fit a Bock #6 if requested.
