Random Acts of Beauty beaded fountain pen

With the thought of random acts of kindness in my head, this fountain pen made me think of random acts of beauty. Jackie Palmer did the bead design and beadweaving, intending that the bead colours would be randomly distributed, only to find that trying to select beads randomly inevitably results in patterns emerging that were never intended! So she had to work hard to achieve this effect … and what a beauty she made!!

Jackie used a total of more than 1 500 tiny Miyuki Delica #11 beads (without a magnifier!!); Dave developed the new model and made the pen, and Lana mixed the custom resin colours: the pen’s body and grip section are a sapphire with some violet shimmer and the finials are a light turquoise. This pen comes with a chrome-plated clip.
